I write, as some of you might know. I thought I'd share a little bit from one of my pieces with you. Enjoy! :3
Caroline looked out the window. She couldn't see much, for the glass was so musty and dirty, vision was not the best, even during the day. It was mid afternoon, and the solders had not yet arrived. They tried to ignore Ya-tu as much as possible. Caroline was not surprised. Who would want to be bothered with the trouble of venturing into an old, run-down village like she lived in? Certainly not the emperors army. That was the problem. But Ya-tu village was not always like this, no, not at all. In fact, it used to be as pristine as the emperors city itself! That is, until he arrived. No one knew his name, but as soon as the strange man arrived, everything went wrong. He was a sorcerer, and not the fair kind. In fact, there were no longer any good sorcerers left. Except for one. And that sorcerer, or, sorceress, was Caroline herself.
